As bad as the above cover is, I imagine you can do much worse than I can.  I have my dignity to preserve, after all, so I cannot go overboard too much.

Therefore, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to create the worst album cover imaginable for an imaginary Tragicomedy album.

All submissions should be e-mailed to chad1978@gmail.com by 12:00 a.m. CST, August 27, 2010. They should be submitted in JPEG format and be 1000 x 1000 pixels in size.  You may use any outside elements you wish, provided you do not infringe upon established copyrights.

If you need raw materials, below are a number of photos that might prove useful to you.  You have my permission to ruin them.

The winner of the contest will receive two data CDs containing every Tragicomedy and Chad Thomas Johnston solo MP3 available.  This includes well over 100 tracks.  I will include the best and the worst and the absolutely horrific.

I will post the top 3 entries on the blog with a critique from AIGA award-winning graphic designer Danny J. Gibson (www.djgdesign.com) for each entry.

If no one enters the contest, I will rest content in the knowledge that  my own creation above could not be topped by a mortal soul.
